What techniques do you use to help people get along?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 29, 2008:
I think it is simple. I always encourage people to walk in the shoes of the other person that aggravates them. Try to look at them with compassion and breath deeply. It is impossible to think clearly when you are holding your breath. Yes! it is possible to forget to breath. I also tell them that, if it is just to energy draining and painful to interact with a person, then it is better for both parts to keep distance. One can always bless and love those who just hurt us too much from a distance.
